Pequot Lakes Library: Library to host book signing, dream catcher class

Lisa writes animal totem stories. It is a Native American tradition to find the energy of animals to teach a custom to people. Lisa will be here to talk and to sign books. She’ll be bringing wonderful dream catcher kits made from tandy leather.

Everyone is welcome. This is a good program for kids as well as adults.

Book festival planned for May

We’re planning our first-ever book festival titled “Made in Minnesota: A Celebration of Local Authors.”

This is for local (anywhere in Minnesota) authors and will take place on Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Setup begins at 9 a.m. The event will take place at the Cole Memorial Building, 4285 Tower Square, Pequot Lakes, just north of the bobber water tower.

Publicize and sell your books and meet great people.

There is a $10 fee (make checks payable to Friends of the Pequot Lakes Library), which includes half of an 8-foot table. Call the Pequot Lakes Library at 218-568-6181 to request registration information.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot now.
